Hera's Hutch

Hera is associated with all aspects of the life of women; including marriage, and childbirth. The Peacock is said to be sacred to the Goddess Hera. It's ocular plumage is often seen as a symbol of Protection - similar to the Evil Eye.  The vibrant feathers also represent both Beauty and Immortality, Undying Love and Affection.
