This Antique Aynsley Fortune Telling Teacup is a soft pastel green and the back-stamp dates its production from 1934 to 1939.   

The tea leaves are read with their usual meanings, but their imagery is combined with the meanings traditionally given to the playing cards upon which the tea-leaf symbols lay.
