Fortune Telling Teacup Paragon

This antique Paragon 'Signs & Omens' teacup is one of the most sought after by collectors.  Beautiful light pink color with gold trim in near perfect condition, with magenta symbols and blue writing on the interior of the cup that states "Many curious things I see when telling fortunes in your tea".

The back stamp dates the production of this cup to be between 1952 to 1960.

The Paragon China company was established in 1920, ultimately becoming part of Royal Doulton in 1972 and continued to produce china under that name until 1991. By 1989 the name and patterns had been absorbed into Royal Albert and by 1992 the Paragon name was discontinued.
